Azalia Shawl Pin
This Azalia shawl / scarf pin features shades of pink, salmon, orange and red. It includes a very light sprinkling of fine glitter as well as flecks of faux gold leaf which all add to the depth and interest of the pattern. The surface has been hand polished to a soft sheen and the textured matt reverse of the disc has a subtle texture in salmon and pink.
My polymer clay shawl pins are ideal for fastening a woolly wrap, securing a waterfall cardigan, pinning a knitted scarf in place or embellishing a beanie. Suitable for any garment with a loose knit or weave, they can also be worn as a piece of contemporary jewellery. Even a silk scarf can be pushed through the disc and the pin passed behind it. Due to the diameter of the bamboo, I don’t advise using them with a fine machine knit or woven fabric.
Dimensions: Large disc: 57 mm diameter (2 & 1/4 inches) and 4 mm (1/8 inch) thick.
Small double sided disc at top of pin: 24 mm (1 inch) diameter and 4 mm (1/8 inch) thick.
Bamboo pin (excluding decorative disc): 87 mm long (3 & 7/16 inch) and 2.5 mm (1/8 inch) wide.
