Sprig Green Shawl Pin 2
One of a pair in this colourway, Sprig Green Shawl Pin 2 features an intricate pastel floral style pattern which has been taken from one of my original gelli prints. Shades of pink, mauve, green, white and soft grey tones blend in an abstract botanical design which has a strong mauve accent line to the design. The pin can be worn either side up.
The back of this pin is a lightly textured, matte green and the disc is stamped with my makers mark.
My polymer clay shawl pins are ideal for fastening a woolly wrap, securing a waterfall cardigan, pinning a knitted scarf in place or embellishing a beanie. Suitable for any garment with a loose knit or weave, they can also be worn as a piece of contemporary jewellery. Even a silk scarf can be pushed through the disc and the pin passed behind it. Due to the diameter of the bamboo, I don’t advise using them with a fine machine knit or woven fabric.
Dimensions: Large disc: 57 mm diameter (2 & 1/4 inches) and 3 mm (1/8 inch) thick.
Small double sided disc at top of pin: 22 mm (7/8 inch) diameter and 5 mm (3/16 inch) thick.
Bamboo pin (excluding decorative disc): 78 mm long (3 & 1/8 inch) and 2.5 mm (1/8 inch) wide
