Lime Zest Shawl Pin
A stunningly bright shawl pin, featuring an abstract pattern of fluorescent, zesty green, muted olive and leaf green, guaranteed to brighten up any woolly scarf or wrap! The disc features an off-set hole for the bamboo stick.
The back of this pin is a lightly textured, mottled leaf green, stamped with my makers mark. The pin head features a different pattern on each side and can be worn either way up.
My polymer clay shawl pins are ideal for fastening a woolly wrap, securing a waterfall cardigan, pinning a knitted scarf in place or embellishing a beanie. Suitable for any garment with a loose knit or weave, they can also be worn as a piece of contemporary jewellery. Even a silk scarf can be pushed through the disc and the pin passed behind it. Due to the diameter of the bamboo, I don’t advise using them with a fine machine knit or woven fabric.
Dimensions: Large disc: 57 mm diameter (2 & 1/4 inches) and 3 mm (1/8 inch) thick.
Small double sided disc at top of pin: 25 mm (1 inch) diameter and 6 mm (1/4 inch) thick.
Bamboo pin (excluding decorative disc): 75 mm long (just less than 3 inches) and 2.5 mm (3/32 inch) wide
